Description
Staffmark, formerly CBS Personnel, is currently looking for talented individuals to fill seven Yard Driver/Spotter positions in the Lexington, KY area. These are seasonal positions through the month of December, but may last longer or lead to permanent employment.
As a Yard Driver/Spotter, you will be responsible for operating Yard Trucks (Ottawas) in a safe manner, backing/pulling to/from the docks.
We are accepting applications and conducting on-the-spot interviews today, Wednesday, November 25th and Monday, November 30th at 1510 Newtown Pike, Suite 134, Lexington KY 40511 (Griffin Gate Plaza, behind the Happy Dragon Chinese Buffett) from 10am-2pm. No appointment necessary. Please be prepared to complete an application with your last 10 years of work history, bring drivers license, social security card and DOT medical card and/or long form physical (for DOT file). Be prepared to stay for about 2-3 hours to complete the interview/hire process. Only those who meet the below qualifications need to apply.
Summary of qualifications:
* Valid CDL, class A.
* One year (12 months) recent (within the last 3 years) and verifiable experience driving tractor-trailers or Yard Trucks (Ottawas).
* Flexibility to work night shift and weekends, plus some overtime.
* Acceptable driving record.
* Acceptable criminal record.
* No DUI/DWI within the last 7 years.
* Be able to pass a DOT drug screen.
* Valid DOT physical.
